Jamie's Kebabs has been operating for a while now in Kapitolyo, but we haven't gotten the chance to experience them in the few times we got to visit the area. So when we got to try their food, words couldn't express 'hummus' we appreciated the fact that they decided to put up a branch here in the south. Why you ask? Cause their food is *that* darn deli-'shish', Southies!🤤👍🏼👌🏼 Legit!🤙🏼

Their hole-in-the-wall branch in BFRV Las Piñas has tables set up, but this branch was really intended to serve mostly pickup and delivery transactions, as Adam, the owner and chef, decided to open the branch during the pandemic. His girlfriend being a Southie living nearby helped with that decision. Now he can say that his heart is where the 'hummus'. *wink, wink*

On to the task at hand, all four of us, thoroughly enjoyed what Adam had us try:

🫓 Hummus with Pita Bread
This was hands-down one of the best versions we've tried! Sooo good!🙌🏼 The chickpeas were a little crisp on the outside which really gave the spread that oomph. This is good for sharing, but, once you start dipping some pita in it, you could probably finish the whole thing yourself.😋 Just ask Southie Eliza. LOL😜

🍟🧀🥩Cheesy Middle Eastern Style Fries with Sauteed Ground Beef
Such a spot on appetizer!😗👌🏼 Everything in it was just perfect to tie the whole thing together: the fries had the right crisp, but also soft enough to give that comforting feels.🤤 They were also spiced perfectly! The cheese and the beef on top of it felt like we all did our good deeds for the day and were being handsomely rewarded.😌 Yummers!😋

🐟 🍖🍗🥩Kebab Sampler for 2 (beef, chicken, lamb, salmon)
Everything was soooo delicious, especially with their yellow buttered rice and noms sauces. The lamb was cooked right, the salmon tasted fresh, and the beef was seasoned perfectly, but we were all surprised by the fact that the chicken kebab won our hearts!🤯🤤 We'd usually go for beef or lamb, but, man! We just couldn't get enough of the chicken: it was tender, well-seasoned, and super juicy!😗👌🏼 Safe to say, no one cried 'fowl' after having it!😅

🍗Jamie's Fried Chicken
If you're a fan of Southern-style fried chicken, then you are in for a treat!👍🏼 We all enjoyed their version because it had that distinct slightly-spiced flavor, but still retaining the familiar comfort of having old-fashioned fried chicken. Yummm!🤤

🫓🥩 Beef Keema with Yellow Buttered Rice (Also great as a Pita wrap)
Ah! This was such a simple, straightforward dish that you might not think much of it at first, but, you're in for a surprise! The beef was so flavorful and spiced and seasoned really well that you'll definitely go for seconds!😋 'Keem'azing!🙌🏼🥺
