Snippets of these Southies going bananas over how noms the food is on THIS table!🍽🤪

These Southies couldn't stop raving about how good and hearty everything was at Gloria's Table PH in Pilar Las Pinas!🙄😄

Just hearing, reading, plus seeing photos and videos of their outing is enough to get this Southie drooling AND craving.🤤 Haha! Check out everything they had, what they loved, and why, courtesy of Southie Chezca's full blow-by-blow. Scroll below to read her full review and view photos from her and Southies Carlo and Aly.👇🏽

🥗 Oriental Salad – ₱140 for Solo and ₱260 for Sharing
Mixed salad, toasted cashew, crunchy fried wanton strips, oriental soy dressing: Don’t be fooled by the Solo size! It was good enough for us 3 people but of course, if you have a big appetite, that's a different story. LOL! We loved their soy sesame vinaigrette, as it blended 'soy' well with the greens and other ingredients. The crunchy fried wanton strips and nori strips were a nice touch texture-wise and surprisingly went well with the greens, cashews and corn. It’s new on the menu, and it’s a strong start for your meal!

🍝 Gloria's Garden Lasagna – ₱180 for 1 piece and ₱330 for 2 pieces
Chef Gloria's Signature Pasta is made with Spinach, Mushroom, and Cheese with Vegetable Bolognese: For any Southie who wants to go meatless and eat something healthy, or those that are into spinach, this is the perfect dish for you! It has a classic bolognese sauce, so you'll love it if you prefer the traditional Italian style that has that pleasant sourness. What's nice about this version is the creamy spinach filling complemented the sauce so well. Each order comes with a side of foccacia bread, which you can dip in the bolognese sauce and clean your plate off! Ugh! Soo good!

🍝🦐🌱 Shrimp & Sausage Pesto Penne – ₱300
Creamy pesto sauce, Hungarian sausage, shrimp and sundried tomatoes:
The shrimp and sausage, harmoniously paired with the creamy pesto, was such a revelation that we couldn’t get enough of it! The pesto was fresh and tasty, and the cheese was rich which made it so delicious! If you love cream and herbs, get this pasta dish!

🍔 BBQ Pulled Pork Slider – ₱330
House-made brioche buns, slow-roasted shredded barbecue pork, house-made sweet-tangy coleslaw, pickle: Everything in this dish is house-made and it has its unique twist: apples in coleslaw! WHUT?! More like coles-WHOA! Haha! The pulled pork had a hint of sweetness and had the right balance of the savoury patty and the soft, airy brioche buns, which all made for that perfect bite! An order of this also comes with their house fries.

🍌🧁 Going Banana Foster – ₱160
In-house sliced banana bread, caramelized banana slices, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream: Ah! The most WHOAsome way to end a filling meal! One of Chef Gloria’s specialties, you get a slice of warm banana bread, topped with vanilla ice cream and banana slices on the sides. It was sweet, warm, and cold at the same time: this can bring you to different heights but it's so comforting, it also feels like home!

🥤🍓 Strawberry Shortcake from their Cream Base Blends – ₱179
It’s creamy and tastes like the classic strawberry milkshake: inspired by Strawberry Shortcake, as its name suggests, this tastes very similar to the real baked treat!

🥤🌞 Tropic Chill from their Yogurt Lush Series – ₱189
Made with pineapple, mango and yogurt, this is perfect for those who love tangy/sour drinks. Hello, Summer!👋🏽😎

🥤☕️ Biscoff Foam Latte – ₱168
We all love Biscoff so this was such a treat for us Southies! The strong espresso, together with Biscoff and cream foam, is a great pick-me-up during a busy day while indulging in something sweet!

PRO-TIPS & FUN FACTS:
📌 Before the restaurant formally opened in July 2023, Chef Gloria used to only accommodate food tray orders online for pickup, but due to the increasing demand for smaller portions and for dine-in, she decided to  finally put up a brick-and-mortar.
📌 Chef Gloria took a break from serving food trays to focus on the restaurant when it opened, but as of December 2023, they are now accepting tray orders!
📌 Their bestsellers include the Chicken Parmigiana (Breaded Breast Fillet topped with a generous amount of tomato sauce and cheese. 20 mins serving time. With sides available, like Pasta, Carbs or Salad) and the Jack Daniel's Barbecue Pork Ribs (Fall-off -the-bone pork ribs marinated in sweet and smoky barbecue sauce, herb vegetables, comes with Java Rice or Salad)
📌 All pasta comes with focaccia, and all breads are baked from scratch. Even the cookies are baked from scratch as well.
📌 One of her bestsellers as well is the Banana Bread! Perfect for gifting or for a quick snack at home with your cup of coffee.
📌 Most of the mains were originally from Chef Gloria's takeaway and food trays before she opened her resto, but they have also been made recently available for Southies to order!

Overall, these Southies couldn’t get enough of everything we tried, and we will be back for sure! For your visit, just a Southie tip: best to bring your friends and family, not only because it’s good for sharing, but, as the quote on one of the walls at Gloria's Table read: “The best memories are made around the table."💛

Thank you sooo much for filling our tummies and hearts full, Chef Gloria!🙏🏽 We can't wait to have more of your creations again!🤗
