Let's admit it. 2020 gave us major heart'cakes', so it's only fitting we bounce back and look forward to 'batter' days this new year. Thank God for one of our favorite Southie bakers, Marj of Bake it with You, for helping this Southie start off the year on a delicious note!

Their cheesecakes were light and not too sweet, even my 75yo mom loved 'em! Both are delish, but I personally like the blueberry variant because the sweet tartness of the blueberry topping brightens up and rounds out the flavor of the cheesecake. But wait... There's more! The best part is the crust! (Talk about the icing on the 'cheesecake', huh? *wink*) They have one of the best cheesecake crusts I've ever tried: sooo buttery and just slightly sweet, the crumbly texture perfectly complements the smooth cheesecake!
